Job Description

Our accounting office in Towson, MD is now hiring a full time Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our largest automotive dealership group, Heritage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reconciles service and parts deposits and customer vehicle purchase receipts, and all credit cards on a daily basis
• Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger
• Prepares and reconciles accounts receivable statements monthly
• Answers accounts receivable phone calls and emails on invoice inquiries
• Cross-trains others for this position as directed by management

Qualifications:

• High School or GED required
• Ability to calculate figures and apply mathematical concepts
• Experience with Accounts Receivable and cash handling
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence
• Self-Starter with ability to maintain high level of customer service.
• Able to work in team environment
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematic skills
• Clear communication, organizational skills and attention to detail
