PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Develop and execute digital marketing content and campaigns that promote the TXCPA and AcctoFi brands, support engagement and participation, and drive revenue growth for programs, products and services.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Marketing and Communications Manager with development, coordination, and implementation of a digital marketing strategy for TXCPA and related entities that translates organizational goals into specific campaigns.
- Coordinate and execute campaigns across email, web, social media, search, display advertising, and other digital channels.
- Create and manage a digital marketing calendar.
- Write clear, persuasive and audience-focused marketing copy.
- Provide creative and content support with graphics, ads, email layout, videos and website design.
- Follow AP style, TXCPA editorial standards, and established brand voice.
- Proactively work with TXCPA entities and staff to ensure adequate and timely coverage of events and programs in all digital campaigns and communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and update website content and optimize the user experience for tx.cpa, acctofi.com, and hosted chapter websites.
- Maintain TXCPA’s social media presence with a focus on delivering relevant updates and growing the number of followers and impressions.
- Create and publish channel-appropriate content.
- Monitor engagement, report on results, and recommend changes to content, format, timing and channel strategy.
- Track and report the performance of websites, email campaigns, social media, digital advertising and other digital initiatives.
- Evaluate results against established objectives.
- Identify trends and insights and recommend strategies that optimize TXCPA’s spend and performance based on the insights.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or a related field.
- Three or more years of professional digital marketing, content marketing, or marketing communications experience.
- Demonstrable professional experience writing marketing copy, optimizing landing pages, managing SEO/SEM, working with email automation, creating polished digital graphics, editing short-form video, and implementing social media and digital advertising campaigns
- Strong knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Working knowledge of web publishing, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development.
- Strong proofreading and quality-control skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and communicate promptly when questions or obstacles arise.
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, resourcefulness and willingness to learn unfamiliar subject matter.
- Ability to receive feedback professionally, apply it consistently and take accountability for the accuracy and completion of assigned work.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
- Experience working for a professional membership association or nonprofit organization.
- Knowledge of the accounting profession, business community.
- Experience with Sitefinity, Higher Logic Thrive or Informz, MemberSuite, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, Monday.com or comparable platforms.
- Experience with paid search, paid social media and display advertising campaigns.
- Familiarity with web and email accessibility standards.
- Experience covering events through photography, video, interviews or real-time social content.
