Job Summary / Brief
River Bend Agricultural Services LLC, a division of the Novus Ag network, is seeking an organized Remote Junior Bookkeeper & Financial Records Specialist to join our regional hub. This position is open to qualified candidates nationwide, operating on a fully remote schedule to support our expanding network footprint. In this role, you will manage our customer financial tracking files and provide advanced corporate accounting administrative support to our regional networks. You will build strong relationships by routing transaction updates, organizing digital ledger pipelines, and keeping corporate financial records moving efficiently to maximize procurement and fiscal productivity.
Core Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Monitor grower account transaction histories, track client credit feed compliance, and route processed ledger terms to the correct agronomic advisor or manager.
- Digital Administration: Coordinate electronic invoice reconciliation workflows, track manufacturer payment timelines, and organize secure cloud accounting directories across our network database.
- Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial records, enter seasonal seed/chemical billing schedules, and log signed payment agreements directly into our central database system.
- Communication Integration: Monitor the central finance tracking inbox, resolve carrier or vendor invoicing discrepancies, and draft professional corporate correspondence for our regional management group.
- Operational Syncing: Coordinate closely with accounts receivable, payroll, and regional warehouse personnel to guarantee cohesive backend support and strict financial compliance.
Applicant Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Professional bookkeeping certificate or college-level accounting coursework highly valued); 1+ years of experience in corporate bookkeeping, basic data entry, or office administrative support is valued.
- Proven track record in digital record keeping, organizing financial files, or tracking document lifecycles.
- Strong computer skills with cloud file sharing, spreadsheet navigation, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel formulas, data entry, sorting).
- Capability to thrive in a self-directed nationwide remote workspace, maintaining consistent digital connectivity.
- Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
