Position Summary
Provides part-time accounts payable and administrative support to the Business Office, ensuring accurate processing and maintenance of financial transactions and records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processes invoices and matches documentation to purchase orders.
- Creates payment vouchers in Colleague and maintains supporting A/P records.
- Maintains vendor documentation, including W-9s, credit applications, and tax exemption forms.
- Reviews student accounts for holds prior to refund processing.
- Organizes and files A/P check batches and related documentation.
- Provides general administrative and mail support for the Business Office.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of post-secondary training or equivalent relevant experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree.
- One (1) year of related office, bookkeeping, administrative, or customer service experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and office practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
