Location: Euless, TX (In-Office)
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
Compensation: $20–$22/hour (based on experience)
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our accounting and administrative functions.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone interested in finance, accounting, or business operations who is willing to jump in wherever needed. You’ll work closely with leadership and play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.
If you’re organized, proactive, and not afraid of repetitive or detail-heavy work — this role has strong growth potential.
IMPORTANT: This is NOT a traditional desk-only position. This role supports both finance/accounting functions and hands-on operations, including HEAVY COIN processing of up to 35-50lb and machine counting. Flexibility and a willingness to help where needed are essential.
What You’ll Do
Reporting and Reconciliations
- Track remote recap submissions for approximately 40 locations.
- Review recaps and supporting receipts for completeness.
- Follow up on missing, incomplete, or late documentation.
- Assist with SMART end-of-month reports and kiosk reconciliations.
- Identify discrepancies and submit unresolved issues for review.
Deposits and Recordkeeping
- Prepare and enter SMART deposit information.
- Match deposits to the correct location, collector, and reporting period.
- Verify that supporting documentation has been received.
- Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records.
- Assist with routine filing, data entry, and document collection.
Compliance Support
- Help maintain operational licenses, permits, registrations, and compliance records.
- Track renewal dates, filing deadlines, and outstanding requirements.
- Communicate with locations regarding missing compliance information.
- Escalate potential compliance concerns to the appropriate team member.
General Department Support
- Follow established procedures, checklists, and deadlines.
- Communicate workload, questions, and delays promptly.
- Assist with additional accounting or administrative projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, administrative, or data-entry experience preferred.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple locations.
- Basic understanding of financial documentation and reconciliations preferred.
