Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our admin office. In this vital role, you will manage various accounting functions, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support our dealership’s financial operations with precision and professionalism. Your expertise in accounting software and financial concepts will help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Job Duties

• Automotive dealership experience is a must
• Perform accounts payable and receivable processing, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Assist with reconciling funded deals and receivables.
• Assist with deal status updates.
• Registration and titling of motor vehicles
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Enter data accurately into accounting software such as Google Docs, Excel, Tekion, etc.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures, journal entries, and account analysis
• Support internal audits and prepare documentation for governmental or external audits as needed
• Process premium payments and product cancellations
• Reconcile dealer reserve statements
• Scan documents into our DMS for confidential record keeping

Skills

• Ability to perform detailed data entry, account reconciliation, and journal entries with high accuracy
• Excellent math skills combined with strong analytical abilities for account analysis and budgeting
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable processes and tax-related accounting tasks
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and support financial services functions

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience
