Bookkeeper (Ecommerce)
Remote | Full-time

We are a fast-growing Ecommerce company based in the US looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial records and support accurate reporting across multiple sales channels.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable

• Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment processor accounts (Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Amazon, etc.)

• Track sales, refunds, chargebacks, fees, and taxes

• Record and reconcile inventory-related transactions

• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

• Assist with sales tax/VAT reporting and compliance

• Support payroll processing and expense tracking

• Collaborate with management and CPA for month-end and year-end close

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper for Ecommerce businesses

• Strong understanding of multi-channel sales accounting

• Experience handling high-volume transactions

• Familiarity with inventory and COGS tracking

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote setup

Tools & Systems

• QuickBooks Online / Xero

• Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce (or similar platforms)

• Stripe, PayPal, Gusto, Brex, or similar tools

• Google Sheets / Excel

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (Ecommerce preferred)

• Bookkeeping certification or accounting coursework is a plus

• Experience working with US-based companies preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

• $8 -$9 / hour depending on experience
