Bookkeeper for a Business Consulting Company in the US (Home Based Part Time)

• Review and verify monthly financial statements (balance sheet and income statement) for accuracy

• Identify, investigate, and correct accounting errors

• Generate financial packages using PayHOA accounting software

• Reconcile two separate bank accounts monthly against physical bank statements

• Coordinate with external CPA to prepare and provide required documents for tax filings and audits

• Process vendor payments through PayHOA software

• Collect, organize, and maintain vendor documentation

• Coordinate with state authorities regarding gross receipts tax payments

• Perform accounting cleanup and reconciliation work as needed
