The client is looking for someone who goes beyond traditional data-entry bookkeeping β€” a senior, "Fractional CFO" style professional who can manage day-to-day bookkeeping while also analyzing financial statements, reviewing the numbers, and providing strategic feedback and real business insights. What you'll do:

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across QuickBooks, Buildertrend, and Adaptive.ai.

  • Review and analyze financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Provide strategic, high-level feedback and financial insights similar to a fractional CFO.

  • Support the client in making informed financial decisions for the business.

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in construction-related expense categorization and cost structures.

  • Collaborate closely with the client to align on financial priorities and reporting needs.

What you must have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of proven experience in construction bookkeeping and financial analysis.

  • An advanced English level.

  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Buildertrend, and Adaptive.ai.

  • Strong knowledge of construction expense categories and cost structures.

  • Proven ability to analyze financial statements and deliver strategic, actionable insights.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

A great plus:

  • Previous experience working in a fractional CFO or senior financial advisory role.

  • Background supporting construction companies with high-level financial decision-making.

  • Previous experience working with U.S.-based clients.
