About the role

The HR Generalist plays a vital role in supporting the organization's people strategy by delivering exceptional HR services and partnering with leaders and employees across the business. This position is responsible for a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, compliance, HR operations, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is proactive, service-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

What you'll do

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and leaders by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding
  • Deliver an exceptional onboarding experience that helps new employees integrate quickly and successfully
  • Build strong working relationships across the organization while promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Coach managers on employee relations matters, performance management, and effective people leadership
  • Conduct workplace investigations and assist with conflict resolution while ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies
  • Maintain accurate employee records and process personnel changes within the HRIS in a timely manner
  • Support payroll and benefits administration by ensuring accurate employee data and responding to employee inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning
  • Maintain strict confidentiality while exercising sound judgment, professionalism, and a high level of accountability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Three to five years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (Rippling a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and confidentialityDescribe the experience and attributes of the ideal candidate
