We are seeking a HR Generalist  to provide day-to-day support across a wide range human resources functions and to provide support to our Operations and Construction teams across our USA sites. This role will focus on employee support, HR administration, and policy compliance, while also assisting Operations managers with workforce planning and employee development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be approachable, organized, and eager to contribute to a positive employee experience.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of US human resource practices and compliance basics.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of HR experience in a generalist or coordinator role.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (ADP, HiBob or similar) required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • General knowledge of U.S. payroll practices.
  • SHRM-CP or other HR certification(s) is an asset but not required.

Other important requirements:  

  • Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies. 
  • Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
